The Ultimate Australian Library Locator – My first Rails app

So in the last two months, I’ve been slowly picking up Ruby on Rails. After refusing myself to cave into the language, I soon found myself wanting to find out what all the hype was about. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to add a new language to my profile. Plus, there was a hack event at NSW State Library called LibraryHack, and I really wanted to participate using Rails.

Anyway, here is my very first Rails project called “The Ultimate Australian Library Locator & WIKI“. It is a directory listing of all the libraries in Australia, plus users can easily modify the information. So I guess I’m trying to “crowd-source” the public knowledge to make more informative website.

Hope you enjoy!
