Hi Christoph! Good to hear from the actual author!

Yeah, if you include the auto-resize, that would be super. I had to dig around the code on the Wookmark site to find out! It's a great plugin and thanks for writing it!

Hi Eric,

Author of the Wookmark plug-in here. Thanks for mentioning it here and good point about the auto-resize and waypoints, I'll look into adding those features as options.

Cheers,
Christoph

Hi Andrew,

As far as I know, in order for this request to be made from your sever, your hosting company must enable you to do so by making sure that the IP address that they have assigned you is specified to make this type of request. I think the motive is to ensure that there aren't any security holes in the hosting environment via mod_security module, which makes sense to me. My (previous) hosting company was quick to do this for me.

Thank you Eric for your great example.
I've used the listener to get response from the map, after i changed the type of the map (satellite, roadmap, hybrid). If i change the map type to the roadmap or from the roadmap to another type i don't get response from the map. Do you have any idea, why i do'nt get any response?

Greetings,
Felix

hey eric,
great work, i am intending to use it in a new project......
just wanted to ask if you intend to integrate OAuth into it aswell so that once a user is authenticated through any particular system with the OpenID eg:google.... my application can then retreive data without asking the user to be authenticated again.
cheers and thank you!
